Bonus HSTs from Snowball Corners

When you are sewing your snowball corners, mark and sew a second line 1/2 an inch towards the outside of the square and sew down that as well. All those corner trims will make a bunch of smaller HSTs! You can use the bonus HSTs for a fun pieced strip on the backing, for another project, to make a pillow cover, or even just to test or practice your quilting on!
